I'm disturbed that I don't really have the time to post anything new at the time. This summer I will start back posting.
I'm currently studying all the muscles, bones and joints of the body. This is the last bodily system I have to study. I also have end of year exams coming up so I'm trying to study a little each day. I'm awaiting results for my last course (Endocrine & Reproduction).

To answer your question, endometrial polyps is a medical term for an overgrowth of cells in the inner lining of the uterus, which is called the endometrium. Most polyps (overgrowth of cells) are small and are normally not cancerous. Endometrial polyps doesn't normally cause symptoms but if symptoms do occur these may include excessive bleeding during periods, bleeding between periods or spotting just after intercourse.
